As the run up to our festival continues, here’s the teams of the day- Hosts FRANCE, Contenders CANADA and Favorites BRAZIL!

Brazil, in any category, has always been identified as the greatest Powers in Football. If we overlook the not-so-powerful 2015 performance, the Brazilians have a great shot at the prize with the likes of Cristiane and Marta returning to the squad. It might just turn out to be their shot at redemption and glory and their cue to jump back up on the ranking table where they rightly belong!

6. Canada

Coach: Kenneth HEINER-MOLLER

The Alpha, aka Christine Sinclair returns as the Pride and Captain of the Canadian team. Canada would look to regain its spot as a formidable team in the world of football. They’re in for a great fight with their closest neighbours and foes alike 😉

Coach: Corinne Diacre

Le Bleues would like to be crowned The Champions in this World Cup right after their male counterparts had an emphatic run in the men’s category! The 2015 edition showed us an exemplary youngster, Eugenie Le Sommer, and she returns as a much more experienced asset. Amandine Henry returns and would be on her toes to lead her teammates.

A powerhouse team with talented p;ayers from teams like PSG, Olympique would run to RIOT its opponents!
