FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 kicks-off from 7th June ’19 in FRANCE and WE CAN’T WAIT FOR ANOTHER EDITION OF HIGH OCTANE ACTION!!!

As we all gear up, let’s have a look at all the glorious TEAMS we will meet this World Cup SEASON!!! I will be counting down with Teams Of The Day Everyday till the BLESSED DAY ITSELF 🙂 !!!

The Winners of 2011 World Cup and runners-up of 2015 remain to be a major Contender for the Bout of the Best. It will be interesting to see how the team turns up this team after a below-par and quite disappointing display in 2015 losing to their arch-rivals 5-2!

Returning to the squad are Saki KUMAGAI , Mana IWABUCHI and Mizuho SAKAGUCHI.

We will see a revamped Japan wit lots of new players taking the baton and leading their country to glory!

It only feels justified to start-off with THE CHAMPIOOOONS! Winner of the 2015 edition, USA remains to be the Top Dog, the Hotshots, the Cool kids in town! The yet again formidable squad assures them a stop on the top Contenders’ List!

Returning to the squad are Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Tobin Heath, Kelly O’ Hara, Megan Rapinoe, Crystal Dunn and many more of the game changers!

What has changed is – No Abby Wambach! The GOAT announced her retirement from international football after the last edition. Her Diving Headers will be missed! Also, Hope Solo, the Towering Wall of the team will be missed!
